Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our operating room team. The role requires at least 2 years of CST OR experience, BLS certification, and completion of an approved Surgical Technology program.

You will prepare supplies, assist surgeons, and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures. We offer day shift, full-time employment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have strong reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Successful completion of an approved Surgical Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years CST OR experience.
• BLS certification required or at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse during procedures.
• Assembles supplies, equipment and medications prior to procedures to maintain efficiency.
• Supports satisfaction initiatives; maintains good relationships with physicians and staff; responds to complaints promptly.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects issues to uphold safety and infection control policies.
• Supervises other team members and assists with orientation and training; promotes a safe environment.
