• Robotic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, total joints, laminectomy, kyphoplasty, carpal tunnel release performed.
• Night shifts are on-call only; typical patient ratio 1:1.

Description:This position requires on-call availability for one day each week and one weekend that includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.The surgical unit has 3 beds and 4 staff members.The staffing consists of 2 registered nurses and 2 certified surgical technologists on day shifts.Night shifts are on-call only.The typical patient ratio is 1:1.The unit uses EMR Meditech Expanse for electronic medical records.Procedures typically performed include robotic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, total joints, laminectomy, kyphoplasty, and carpal tunnel release.Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.Call is required for approximately 10-15 days per month, which may decrease as staffing increases with case volume.The ideal candidate should possess a skill set that includes the must-have procedures listed above.A strong personality fit for the team is essential.
