Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) to join our day shift team. You’ll work in general, OB, ortho, urology, and sports medicine procedures, ensuring sterile technique and smooth operating room workflow.

Travel experience is preferred; NBSTSA certification may be favored. This 40-hour-per-week CST role requires 8- or 10-hour shifts, with regular call and weekend coverage, and a current license and certification through the application process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Description:Day shift CST position requires 40 hours per week, consisting of a mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts.Call requirements include 6-7 shifts per month, with every 4th or 5th weekend involved.This entails availability from Friday afternoon until 6:30 AM on Monday morning.Individual night shifts from 5 PM to 6:30 AM are also expected.Candidates must be located 50+ miles away from the facility.Requests for time off cannot exceed more than 3 days.Candidates with NBSTSA certification will be given preference.Proficiency in Orthopedic procedures including Total Joints, Gynecology (including C-sections), Urology, General, and Sports Medicine is essential.The patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.A surgical tech skills checklist demonstrating proficiency in relevant procedures is required.A signed supervisory reference from the past year of employment is also necessary.All licenses and certifications must be current during the application process.A permanent address must be included in the application file.Requests for time off should be 3 days or less, with no exceptions.
