Candidates must be comfortable with orthopedic cases.Holiday and weekend call required (5-6 shifts per month).No overnight or weekend shifts (call only).6 rooms available with 15-20 cases per day.Expectation for all travelers to help with precepting and orienting new staff and travelers.Previous experience in general surgery and endoscopic procedures required.Preferred experience in labor and delivery, gynecology, plastics, podiatry, robotics, and urology.Scheduling is self-schedule sign up and balanced by the OR lead; call is self-sign up.Floating may be required.Scrubs provided by the facility.Locals are not accepted.First-time travelers are not accepted.

Description:Candidates will work primarily in orthopedic cases.They must demonstrate the ability to support the surgical team effectively.The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment.Travelers will be required to participate in patient care and OR functions.Call-back rate only paid if a traveler is on-call offsite and is called back after their shift has ended.Travelers should not clock out and back in for any shifts that run over or are extended.They will work with a team representing various specialties.The facility offers care to complex patients and is actively involved in research and education.Daily census will range between 15-20 cases.Candidates will work with diverse surgical procedures and technologies.The environment fosters professional development and collaboration.
