Job summary

Adena Health System is seeking a Surgical Technician to join the OR team on a casual as-needed basis. This role supports surgeons and staff with aseptic technique and precise patient care.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, certification within 1 year of hire, and 1–2 years of experience. Location at Adena Pike in the Surgery Department, with no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program Major/Area of Concentration: Surgical Technology.
• Certified Surgical Technician and/or TS-C within 1 year of hire.
• 1-2 years surgical technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in on surgical procedures and assist staff.
• Maintain aseptic and sterile technique with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as outlined by department policy.
