Start times are 6:30 AM or 8:30 AM with rotating days and a call requirement. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of OR/Surgical Tech experience, BLS/CPR certification, and a preferred Surgical Technician certification. Strong sterile technique is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR/Surgical Tech experience
• BLS/CPR certification
• Surgical Technician certification preferred
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Associate/technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Perform accurate sponge, needle, blade, and instrument counts
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Prepare ORs according to surgical specialty
• Assist with equipment and supply management
