Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group currently seeks a Surgical Tech for a 13-week assignment in Templeton, CA. You will work in a busy acute-care setting, scrub cases, and maintain sterile technique from setup through instrument counts.

Requirements include at least 2 years of OR/Surgical Tech experience and BLS/CPR certification. The role features a rotating schedule with start times at 6:30 AM or 8:30 AM in Templeton, CA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR/Surgical Tech experience
• BLS/CPR certification
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Associate/technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Perform accurate sponge, needle, blade, and instrument counts
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Prepare ORs according to surgical specialty
• Assist with equipment and supply management
