Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an OR role in Oro Valley, AZ. The position requires 3+ years of total joint and DaVinci experience, Cerner proficiency, and BLS plus specialty certification. You will support the surgical team by maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments, and managing specimens.

Shifts are 4/10s (0630-1700) with on-call duties. This fast-paced role offers exposure to advanced procedures in a hospital setting, with on-site work

Qualifications

• Surgical technologists must graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited program and be CST-certified.
• 3+ years of experience with total joint and DaVinci required.
• Cerner experience is required and expected in this role.
• BLS and specialty certification are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field, set up equipment and supplies.
• Pass instruments and manage the sterile field and specimens during surgery.
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained objects.

Job description

Position:CHS Travel: Certified Surgical Technician (CST)/ (OR)

Position Information: Surgical technologists prepare the operating room, including the sterile field, setting up surgical equipment, supplies and solutions. During surgery, surgical technologists pass instruments, fluids and supplies to the surgeon and prepare and manage surgical equipment. Surgical technologists simultaneously manage the sterile field and specimens. Surgical technologists perform a count of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects. Surgical technologists are certified following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program and the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.

4/10's with On Call

Must have 3+ years of experience withtotal joint and Davinci.
