Qualifications

• BLS certification must be current.
• Preferred: operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgery team with direct/indirect patient care activities in the OR.
• Maintains sterile environment and prepares instrument trays and autoclave as needed.
• Assists with room turnover and stock items for surgical suites.
• Communicates observations of patient status to the RN and follows directions.
• Respects patient privacy and participates in performance improvement activities.
