Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology training program required.
• One month of job-related experience and/or training
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are disinfected and ready.
• Maintains sterile field and supports the surgical team during procedures.
• Prepares patient skin, positions patients, and monitors vital signs.
• Perform scrub functions and assist with instrument handling and specimen labeling.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization of OR for next case.
• Duties may include clerical tasks and patient information entry as needed.
