Job summary

Northwell Health in Bethpage, NY seeks a Surgical Supply Specialist to maintain implants and supplies for the operating room, ensuring accurate deliveries and proper storage. • Enters implant tracking serial numbers into department computer system.
• Assists in reviewing daily case schedule and pick lists and prepares case carts accordingly.
• Enters each patient’s surgical supply profile in department computer system.
• Captures and records surgical supply charges for all surgical cases.
• Identifies and corrects implant and supply discrepancies, as needed.
• Maintains constant communication with Purchasing, Materials Management, and related departments.
