Job summary

St. Charles Health Systems is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician in Bend, OR to assemble case carts, decontaminate and sterilize instruments, and ensure proper storage and preparation for procedures. The position requires a High school diploma or GED and CRCST certification within 18 months of hire, with preferred experience in sterile processing and healthcare materials management.

Qualifications

Experience in sterile processing or related areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates, assembles and disassembles, and distributes supplies for surgical cases.
Cleans, decontaminates, and sterilizes instruments and supplies.
Responsible for case cart and procedure preparation.
Operates various sterilization equipment.
Restocks department inventory and ensures instruments are stored properly.
Cleans and maintains department equipment.
Delivers customer service and patient care in a manner that promotes goodwill.
May perform additional duties of similar complexity.
