Job summary

Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Stepdown unit on nights. The role is full time (36 hr/wk) with hours 7:00 pm–7:30 am and rotating weekends, located in Evanston, IL.

A BSN is preferred and IL RN licensure plus BLS/CPR are required; at least 1 year of nursing experience is expected. The position offers premium pay variations based on shift and holidays, incentive pay for select roles, growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, free parking, and

Qualifications

BSN degree preferred for this role.
Current IL Registered Nurse license is required.
BLS/CPR certification is required.
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the care plan.
Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
Assume responsibility and accountability for outcomes of nursing care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
Contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high-quality patient experience.
