Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Stepdown unit. You will provide comprehensive post-operative care, closely monitor vitals and telemetry, administer medications, and manage wounds and drains.

You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and support safe discharge. Mercy offers ongoing clinical education, innovative care practices, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Experience with post-surgical care and telemetry is preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and families is essential.
