Responsibilities

• Base nursing actions on organized clinical judgment.
• Greet and assess patients, plan and implement care.
• Develop and revise the plan of care as patient needs change.
• Document care provided and patient progress.
• Supervise licensed/unlicensed staff as assigned.
• Educate patients and families about the care plan.
• Prepare patients for discharge and post-care needs.
• Administer medications and deliver direct patient care.
• Lead the health care team and serve as a preceptor when needed.
