Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Physician Assistant Education Program.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Current AHA BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Must work under the supervision of an MD.
• Copy of PA Scope of Service on file at CEP and CarolinaEast Health System.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in line with CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic and screening tests.
• Follow up appointments and prescribe/order medications as appropriate.
• Refer patients for further care as clinically appropriate.
