Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Simulation Center is seeking a Medical Education Technologist/SIMULATION Operation Specialist to oversee logistics and technical operations for surgical skills labs. You will handle cadaveric specimens, instruments, and medical devices while ensuring biosafety and donor dignity.

You will support faculty, students, residents, and fellows across the Charlotte area with simulation-based education.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2+ years' experience in technology, healthcare, project management, OR simulation field preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with teammates to create surgical simulation education curricula for undergraduate and graduate medical education programs.
Develops and manages relationships with vendors to provide service and support.
Manages project and course timelines and coordinates with others to meet project outcomes.
Bioskills & Specimen Management: Prepare, thaw, position, and preserve human cadaveric tissue in compliance with biosafety standards.
Surgical Instrumentation & Lab Setup: Set up bioskills stations with instruments, tools, and imaging systems and maintain equipment.
