Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for our Surgical Short Stay unit on Day Shift (0700-1930). You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with the health care team, and advocate for patients and families. This role requires an active RN license (multistate licenses must establish residency within 60 days).

BLS is required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS. ACLS within 6 months and PALS within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with Idaho Board within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing services and advocate for patients.
• Perform assessments, plan and evaluate care and educate patients and families.
• Ensure safe administration of medications and adherence to policies.
