Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; BLS Heartsaver within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred medical/surgical experience.
• Basic computer skills in Surgical Services areas.

Responsibilities

• Models Covenant's Mission, Vision and Values.
• Assists patients and visitors under RN direction.
• Maintains safe, clean work areas in storage rooms, OR rooms and work area.
• Transports medications, equipment, blood, specimens and patients.
• Assists OR staff with sterile technique and patient handling.
• Performs in-unit and unit-to-unit transfers.
