Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Surgical Services Supply Clerk to ensure medical/surgical supplies are readily available for clinicians in operating rooms. The role supports Materials Management systems and bar code technology, and delivers emergency carts as needed.

Full-time position with 2:00 PM–10:30 PM hours, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. The organization offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Wisconsin's leading hospital system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Materials management experience in any industry (Required). Healthcare experience not required.
• One year materials management experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred)

• Effectively and efficiently fulfill all requests for medical/surgical supplies, so they are readily available to all clinicians in the UW Hospital operating rooms.
• Support Surgical Services by using the Materials Management system and bar code technology to perform a wide array of materials management activities.
• Ensure that all emergency carts are complete and urgently deliver patient medical equipment when needed.
• Demonstrate technical ability and follow job expectations and organizational policies/procedures.
