Responsibilities

• Oversee daily staff and room assignments to optimize workflow and quality metrics.
• Direct human resources functions, including orientation, performance feedback, and staff development.
• Monitor staffing mixes and manage supplies/capital for cost-effective operations.
• Maintain standards of care per TJC, CMS, and hospital policies for patient safety.
• Lead departmental work teams to analyze outcomes and drive evidence-based practice changes.
• Assist in developing the surgical schedule and manage payroll to maintain unit operations.
