Job summary

The Registered Nurse Surgical Services at UVA Health Northern VA Culpeper leads the healthcare team by building an authentic relationship with patients and families, and by coordinating with physicians to implement individualized care plans. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required; 4 year/bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in applicable state required.
• CPI certification within three months of hire for specified units.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team and establish an authentic patient relationship.
• Coordinate with physicians and other team members to implement an individualized plan of care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per current policies.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
