Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation seeks a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Services Department. Under supervision, you will ensure patient safety and plan care during procedures, assist in circulating and scrub duties, and participate in orientation and education of staff.

You will take call as assigned by the Perioperative Coordinator/Educator or Director of Surgical Services and cross-train to other areas within Surgical Services. Ohio license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS required within 6 months of employment.
• Maintains BLS per American Heart Association.
• RNFA and ACH Allied Health requirements needed.
• Join ONA within 31 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and planning of care for patients in Surgical Services.
• Assist with surgical procedures in circulating and possible scrub roles.
• Assist in orientation, training and education of personnel.
• Take call as assigned by Perioperative Coordinator/Educator or Director and cross-train.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or college nursing program

Current Ohio nursing license

Surgical experience preferred

ACLS within 6 months

BLS current (American Heart Association)

RNFA and ACH Allied Health requirements

ONA membership within 31 days of employment

Computer-literate
