Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership for the Pre-Operative and PACU areas. You will coordinate daily clinical operations, ensure staffing coverage, and uphold surgical safety standards in partnership with the Director of Surgical Services.

Minimum three years as an RN with PreOp/PACU experience is required; Indiana RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 90 days are expected. EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years as an RN with PreOp/PACU experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow of Pre-Op and PACU.
• Ensure staffing coverage and daily assignments.
• Develop monthly staffing schedules.
• Monitor patient assessments, medication administration and handoffs.
• Maintain compliance with surgical safety processes.
• Act as on-site clinical leadership when Director is unavailable.
