Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced, broad-based knowledge of business practices.
• Techniques of supervision, management, and leadership.
• Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
• Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
• May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending kneeling and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Plan, select, and devise operational best practices, workflows and standards for quality and quantity of work, including staffing standards.
• Assign, direct and review the work of subordinate supervisors/other personnel; prepare formal answers to grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Prepare and manage budgets for assigned area or program; adhere to approved budget.
• Oversee department operations including materials management, information systems, scheduling, billing, and personnel management.
• Monitor compliance with licensure, accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Assess plans and evaluate educational and professional development programs for the assigned area or program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
