Job summary

Singing River Health System seeks a Surgical Services Business Manager to lead systems support for our surgical areas, partnering with physicians, management, and vendors to improve patient, physician, and staff satisfaction.

You will monitor the charge master, billing, and budgets, driving cost-saving initiatives and standardization with regional purchasing coalitions. Strong supervision and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' operating room/surgical services experience.
• BSN preferred with Mississippi licensure or NLN nursing graduate
• Current Mississippi State licensure for nurses
• CMRP preferred; must be CMRP eligible and certification within two years
• BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer

Responsibilities

• Lead systems support for surgical services and coordinate with physicians and management.
• Monitor charge master; billing; and budget reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with VHA and Gulf Coast States Purchasing Coalition to standardize purchasing.
• Provide financial analysis, budgeting, and cost-saving strategies across Surgical Services.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards in operating room operations and supply chain.
