Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a dedicated Surgical Services Support role to assist with patient care and the efficiency of our operating environment. You will contribute to patient safety through environmental turnover, equipment transport, and collaboration with licensed staff.

Responsibilities include aiding with case preparation, instrument handling, and supply restocking while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in restricted areas and supporting the surgical team throughout

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross; Nursing Student - Various

Responsabilités

• Support patient care processes across Surgical Services.
• Provide environmental services to assist with procedure room turnover and routine cleaning in restricted areas.
• Transport patients and/or equipment to/from/within Surgical Services.
• Assist with patient care needs as delegated by licensed staff (lifting, positioning, preps, etc.).
• Assist with case preparation processes as directed.
• Assist with instrumentation / supply handling / restocking as directed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Days, 3 days a week, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Supports patient care processes across Surgical Services.
• Provide environmental services to assist with procedure room turnover and routine cleaning of the surgical services in restricted and semi-restricted areas.
• Transport patients and/or equipment to/from/within Surgical Services.
• Assist with patient care needs as delegated by licensed staff (lifting, positioning, assisting with preps, etc.).
• Assist with case preparation processes as directed.
• Assist with instrumentation / supply handling / restocking as directed.
• All other duties as assigned.
