Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care required.
• 5 years Nursing/Patient Care experience required.
• 2 years Previous managerial experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS/NRP certifications required if unit demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy Surgical Pre-Op and Post-Op recovery unit.
• Prepare, manage and control budgets; monitor variances.
• Direct employees to meet mandatory Human Resource requirements.
• Complete performance appraisals of staff members.
• Ensure quality compliance across operations.
• Oversee clinical competence of personnel.
