Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Patient Care required.
• 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
• 5 years Nursing/Patient-Care experience required.
• 2 years of managerial experience preferred.
• RN license in state of practice required.
• ACLS and BLS required; PALS as unit need.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and control budget; monitor variances.
• Direct employees to meet HR requirements and staff needs.
• Complete performance appraisals for staff.
• Ensure quality compliance across units.
• Oversee clinical competence and patient-care standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care - Required

• Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019 BSN -Required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO.

• 2 years of Operating Room experience - Required

• 5 years Nursing/Patient - Care Required

• 2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills - Preferred

• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice - Required

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

• Licensure - Nursing Leadership Licensure within 36 months - Preferred

• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - Required

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association -Required if required by unit
