Job summary

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited surgical technology program, certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, with five years of surgical technology experience (including two years in a service-specific field).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Current certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required; BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Five years of surgical technology experience required, including two years in service specific field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procedures setup and breakdown within the surgical suite.
• Troubleshoot equipment and manage instrument tracking and case accuracy.
• Support leader with staff education, trial evaluation, budget requests, and procurement.
• Assist leader in planning staff meetings and staff development.
