Job summary

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting support, and quality improvement, partnering with physicians and hospital leadership to enhance outcomes and regulatory compliance. A BSN and RN license are required, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• CNOR preferred. Current ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certification for facilities caring for pediatric population.
• At least two years of experience in Surgical Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Surgical Services and Peri-Anesthesia departments.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, productivity, and department performance.
• Ensure high-quality patient care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and hospital leadership.
• Lead quality improvement and performance initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting, resource management, and operational planning.
• Support staff recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management.
