Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City MO is seeking a Surgical Services Materials Tech to help manage medical supply inventory, replenish par locations, and support efficient supply chain operations in MOR and ASC. The role collaborates with the Material Coordinator to secure timely stock for procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with MMIS or supply chain systems is helpful.
• Knowledge of medical supplies or previous stock room experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs MMIS receiving transactions using handheld/iPad and desktop applications
• Replenishes par locations through replenishment methods including picking orders and filling bins
• Requisitions central store supplies
• Stock put away and maintains a clean environment
• Follow up on order issues and substitutions
• Pull procedure carts/pick sheets for surgeries
• Assist in supply chain projects and reorganizing efforts
• Audit inventory locations for cleanliness, organization and regulatory compliance
• Clean/disinfect equipment and carts for hospital deployment
• Operate motorized pallet jacks as needed
• May cross-train in other materials functions
