Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Surgical Support Services Technician to ensure timely access to supplies and instrumentation for the Perioperative Services team, assist in patient transfers, and provide courteous, patient-focused service to clinicians and staff.

Under supervision, you will maintain inventory, stock emergency and specialty supplies, coordinate with anesthesia, perform room decontamination per CDC/AORN guidelines, and support case pulls with quality checks to

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 60 days of hire.
• Respirator Fit Test required upon hire.
