Job summary

Medasource is seeking a CST/Surgical Tech for a seasonal travel assignment in the Spine & Total Joint OR at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Lone Tree, CO. The role requires at least 6 months of CST experience, BLS, and active DORA/NBSTA certifications, with on-site support for spine and joint procedures.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, prepping the OR, assisting with spinal fusion cases (ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, ACDR) and total joint replacements, while ensuring on-call availability with a

• Utilize Meditech EMR for charting and documentation.
• Support OR team with patient positioning and instrumentation.

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 3 ORs for Spine and Joint
• 9 for Spine and Joint and 4 for our International Hip Preservation Center

• Number of Staff – 60
• Type of staff:

• Day Shift – one Charge RN, one Unit Secretary, we staff 8-11 rooms on a daily basis. Mon-Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are call only.
• Night Shift – Night call is from 5P – 11P, Monday thru Friday, No overnight required.

Patient Ratios – N/A

Type of equipment – Spines and Joints

EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: CST, Surgical Tech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 6 months current hospital CST experience
• BLS
• DORA and NBSTA Certifications must be currently active
• Experience with large spinal fusions including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF and ACDR

Preferred or nice to have

• Spine Scrub experience
• Joint Scrub experience
