Job summary

Corewell Health's Trenton Hospital in New Jersey seeks an OR support role to assist surgeons and the care team in a busy operating room environment. The position supports patient safety and efficient workflow across surgical and endoscopic procedures, reporting to theregistered nurse supervisor.

Full-time, rotating shifts, 40 hours per week, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months of on‑the‑job training to become familiar with equipment and processes, to ensure patient safety and timely discharge.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Scope of work

Under general supervision of the registered nurse is responsible for performing various tasks to facilitate efficient and smooth management of surgical/endoscopic patients and procedures in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent Required
• Successful completion of a minimum of one to three months of on-the -job training to become familiar with equipment and processes, to provide a safe environment for patients to prevent injury or delay in discharge Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire
