Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Aide to support the operating room (OR) and Sterile Processing Department (SPD). The role involves cleaning, setup, and terminal cleaning of the OR suites, with an emphasis on maintaining a sanitary and safe environment for patient care, during the afternoon and evening shifts.

The job requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, tasks and resources.
• Ability to read and understand policies, labels and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the operating staff with cleaning and preparation of the surgical suite and SPD.
• Maintain knowledge about the flow of operations and anticipate staffing needs.
• Set up and break down of surgical suites; perform terminal cleaning after cases.
• Ensure ORs and perioperative areas are clean, sanitary, and ready for patient care.
