Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Aide to support the operating staff in cleaning and preparing the surgical suite and SPD. You will help manage workflow, anticipate needs, and ensure spaces are clean, safe, and ready for patient care.

The role emphasizes terminal cleaning after cases and adherence to infection prevention standards, with an evening schedule from 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Prior EVS or surgical services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for schedule printing and emailing.
• Excellent communication with department RN's and leadership.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources effectively.
• Ability to read and understand hospital policies and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical staff with cleaning and setup of OR and SPD.
• Maintain knowledge of workflow and anticipate staffing needs.
• Set up and breakdown of surgical suites and terminal cleaning.
• Ensure OR and perioperative areas are sanitary, safe, and ready.
• Keep SPD and facilities stocked and ready for use.
