Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Aide PRN to support the Ambulatory Surgery Unit and help ensure patient safety and a smooth flow of procedures. The role involves transporting patients, stocking rooms, and maintaining a sterile environment.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment. Prior cleaning, transport, or patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Commercial cleaning experience, transport and/or some patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely within the ASU, Endo and Pacu areas following protocols.
• Prepare and stock ASU patient rooms with supplies and fluids for procedures.
• Assist with cleaning and turnover of ASU rooms to maintain a safe, sterile environment.
• Deliver specimens to the Lab.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the surgical suite and common spaces.
