Job summary

Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Service Line Coordinator to support the Perioperative Services team. You will ensure instruments, implants, and equipment are available for procedures and work closely with surgeons, vendors, and leadership to optimize operating room efficiency.

Under supervision, you will assist with setup, transport, and passing instruments, while monitoring utilization trends and supporting budget and process improvements in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NBSTSA preferred.
• Experience in operating room or sterile processing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical case preparation by reviewing schedules and equipment needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, offices, vendors, and clinical teams to ensure resources are available.
• Manage implant and consignment inventory to prevent disruptions.
• Ensure instruments and implants are delivered, processed, and ready for use.
• Assist with budget planning, reporting, and operational improvements.
• Maintain surgical preference cards and assist with invoice approvals.
• Support new product introductions and compliance with hospital policies.
