Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners manages Banner Surgery Center-Sports Medicine, a full-time surgical technologist role in Scottsdale, AZ. The position focuses on instrument handling, aseptic technique, and assisting the surgical team in orthopedic procedures across multiple ORs.

• BLS required and must be registered with State Regulatory Agency where applicable.
• Active NBSTSA/NCCT or approved surgical technologist certification.
• 2+ years OR experience or graduation from certified Surgical Technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures and pulls instruments and supplies.
• Assists surgeon by passing instruments and retracting tissue during surgery.
• Maintains aseptic technique and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
• Ensures accuracy of surgeon preference cards and pick lists.
• Assists with OR turnover and stocking/replenishing supplies.
