Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Scrub Technician Program required; Certification preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist circulating nurse and team to keep environment sterile.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments pre-op and intra-op.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants.
• Transport equipment and assist with instrument reprocessing.
