Job summary

Summit Surgical Center in Fresno, CA is seeking a Full Time Surgical/Scrub Technician to join a fast-paced, multi-specialty team.

You will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, prepare supplies, and support physicians and staff while contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to aseptic techniques, and exceptional patient coordination in an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Responsibilities

Summit Surgical Center in Fresno, CA is hiring a Full Time Surgical/Scrub Technician

Summit Surgical specializes in Orthopedics, Pain Management, Oculoplastic, and Podiatry. Summit Surgical is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Surgery Center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Pay Range: $27.58 - $37.00/hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

No call, weekends or holidays.

Surgical/Scrub Technician

The Surgical/Scrub Technician scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
