Walnut Creek Surgical Suites in the United States is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Scrub Tech to join our surgical team and uphold our values of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility and community. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Scrub Tech will scrub procedures, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment, and support our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or prior scrub experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.

Scrub Tech at Walnut Creek Surgical Suites

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Scrub Tech is responsible for scrubbing surgical procedures and demonstrating competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. The role includes preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. The Scrub Tech supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or prior scrub experience preferred
• Must possess strong knowledge of surgical procedures and the management of surgical patients
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their proper implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the patient’s condition when needed
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and physicians
