USPI Oro Valley Surgical Suites is seeking a motivated Surgical Scrub Tech to join our fast-paced ASC. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, preparing instruments and supplies, and supporting quality improvement efforts within an orthopedic- and multi-specialty-focused surgical team.

The successful candidate will have formal surgical technician training or equivalent experience, with a preference for total joint/orthopedic background and ambulatory center experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Total Joint and Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Completion of a surgical technician program or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their application.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients and physicians.

Aufgaben

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under direct supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives and goals.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Supports and participates in perioperative care across listed specialties (Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology).

USPI Oro Valley Surgical Suites, is seeking a motivated Surgical Scrub Tech to join our team. USPI Oro Valley Surgical Suites is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Total Joint and Orthopedic Experience Preferred
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
