Responsibilities

• Ensure sterility of supplies and instruments during setup.
• Assist surgical team in maintaining sterile environment.
• Gather necessary supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments pre- and intra-operatively.
• Assist in gowning surgeons and assistants.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patients and staff.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist in the operating room as directed.
