Job summary

Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, Missouri is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room services. The base start pay is $20.71 per hour with experience-based increases and incentive eligibility.

Responsibilities include providing essential patient care under nursing supervision, maintaining documentation in the EMR, and applying surgical technologist theory per state guidelines. Must complete orientation, CPR within 90 days, and meet dress code and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement cost-effective means to meet patient needs through resource utilization.
• Enhance patient experience through clear, respectful communication.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Assist nursing staff with duties within scope of practice.
• Apply surgical technologist theory and follow standards/care for appropriate patient care.
• Contribute to a collaborative practice with RNs and other disciplines.
