Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a Healthcare Scheduler to arrange surgeries, manage patient data, and coordinate with physicians and staff. You will handle scheduling, demographic, insurance and clinical information to ensure smooth operations in the main operating room suite.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. A High School diploma is required; healthcare experience is preferred. The role is full-time with day shifts in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv is required.
• 3+ years in a healthcare setting is required.
• 1+ year of technical experience is preferred.
• 1+ Electronic Health Record (EHR) scheduling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork.
• Obtains scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information to schedule, cancel, or reschedule events.
• Schedules surgeries with physicians and staff using facility methods.
• Responds to inquiries regarding scheduling of surgery and the main OR suite.
• Maintains hospital schedules via calls, faxes, and other methods.
