Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year prior surgery scheduling experience and clerical experience.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology.
• Registration experience and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter booking information and schedule surgeries.
• Ensure adequate time between cases and room turnover.
• Post surgical charges accurately.
• Coordinate with registration, preadmission testing and anesthesia.
• Communicate changes to teams and maintain logs.
