Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries across multiple sites and coordinate with hospitals and physicians.
• Obtain accurate surgical orders and complete necessary paperwork.
• Enter surgery appointments and attach insurance/authorization information.
• Document patient communications and schedule confirmations.
• Conduct precertification and verify surgical benefits with insurers.
• Monitor and adjust surgical block time to maximize utilization.
