Job summary

Evolve Orthopedic Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Surgical Coordinator to support our orthopedic surgeon. You will coordinate surgeries, book pre- and post-op appointments, and act as the main point of contact between patients and providers.

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, on-site position. Ideal candidates have surgical scheduling experience, solid MS Office skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth patient flow and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience in an office setting; medical setting preferred.
• Surgical scheduling experience and/or LPN license is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgeries and pre/post-op appointments.
• Serve as liaison between patients and providers.
• Schedule surgeries, including clearances and documentation.
• Handle paperwork such as referrals and prior authorizations.
• Manage communications to override or reschedule appointments as needed.
• Coordinate provider schedules for meetings and cases.
• Gather patient information including medical necessity and referrals.
• Communicate with case managers regarding care.
